Start your journey by mastering the core fundamentals of Arabic. This level will equip you with the essential tools to recognize and understand basic Arabic structures. By the end of this stage, you’ll notice a significant improvement in your ability to identify concepts that were once unfamiliar. However, this is just the beginning—there’s much more ahead!

Course Instructor

Iman Khan attended the Shaykh-ul-Hind program at Darul Qasim and has attained her ijāzah in the Ḥafṣ ‘an ‘Āṣim recitation of the Qur’an. She has nearly a decade of teaching experience in subjects such as Qur’an, Qāʿidah, Tajwīd, Ḥifẓ, Arabic, and Islamic Studies.

She has taught at institutions including Masjid Uthman, Monarch Academy, Islamic Foundation School, and Carriers of Light, and currently serves as an instructor at Kitaab Academy. Iman has experience teaching a wide range of age groups—from preschoolers to adults—and strives to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment while building meaningful connections with her students.

The Level 1 course prepares students to begin reading simple Arabic texts such as Qaṣaṣ al-Nabiyyīn.
